CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entry to the Fairfield Art Society Prize Exhibition is open to all Australian artists. FAS members will get a discount.

No artwork is eligible for more than one prize and/or award
Only online entries will be accepted. Closing date for online entries is 28 Nov. 2021 11.59pm (AEST)
Entries must be the original work of the artist, and must NOT have been entered in any previous competitive exhibition organised by the Fairfield City Art Society.
All Entry Fees are Non Refundable.
We reserve the right not to display any artworks with political and/or religious content, or artworks depicting
offensive nudity. No correspondence will be entered into.
Size of the actual artwork, width and height (and depth for 3D works) must be on entry form and are not to include mat or frame.
Works can be any medium. 3D works must have three photos taken from three different angles.
Work to be submitted as a jpeg image, no less than 300dpi and file size no larger than 5MB, so that the judge can zoom into the image to look closely.
On the online entry image it must state artists name, painting title and medium eg: SmithJ_sunlit path_oil.jpeg (oil,dig,3d,acr,mix,wop,phot)
All art-works must be for sale. A 20% commission to the FAIRFIELD CITY ART SOCIETY will be deducted on artworks sold during the online exhibit at the prices shown on the entry form. Your price must include postage within Australia. If any works purchased by an overseas buyer, then additional shipping cost will need to be applied.
Selling artists will be connected with the buyer to arrange delivery.
Each entry must be accompanied by the relevant payment.

FAS reserves the right to use the digital images of artworks entered in the prize for the purposes of publicity, documentation, digital and electronic formats. FAS will make appropriate acknowledgements.
The Judge(s) will see each artwork entered and award the prizes. They may also award commendations. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
Maximum number of entries is two artworks per artist .
Entry fees : First artwork : $Nil for members. (Annual membership fee of $20 or $15 (pensioner), can be paid on entry). for the second member artwork an additional $15.
For non-members entry fee for each artwork is $20 (maximum of Two)
Please Note - Prize Winning Artworks may be hung in a Winners Exhibition in our Gallery Space post Covid
Awarding of prizes in all categories is subject to there being a minimum five participants in the category.
